The KZS-1624-1 "PALESSE GS16" combine harvester occupies the highest level of PALESSE combines. The most modern machine with a power of 530 HP. it is intended for agricultural enterprises with large amounts of grain.

The two-drum threshing system with pre-acceleration of the grain mass flow ensures careful threshing with high efficiency. Instead of a straw walker, the combine is equipped with a twin rotor rotor, "spiral" with fixed lattice decks and rotating in opposite directions. This combined scheme, combining the advantages of drum threshing and rotor, is best suited for farms that harvest large amounts of maize along with the grain.

The high level of automation of the processes performed allows to eliminate operator errors and ensure stable operation of the combine in changing harvesting conditions. The spacious cab of the new unified series provides all conditions for the combine without stress and fatigue during a long shift.

The repeatedly tested drum threshing system with acceleration of grain mass flow before feeding to the threshing drum proves its advantages in the PALESSE GS16 combine. "Combing" the mass by the teeth of the drum-accelerator makes its flow completely uniform. In combination with high speed, it not only ensures fast and careful threshing, but also creates the conditions for high efficiency of all subsequent processes.
The conditions for an effective rotor separation are created already at the stage of feeding the mass from the thresher: a beater of a special design separates the mass into two streams and evenly delivers the straw separator to both rotors. Wrapped in plates, they turn in opposite directions. As the mass moves at high speed in a spiral between the rotors and the fixed plates, a high centrifugal force acts on it, which ensures the rapid release of the residual grain. This is one of the most important factors that ensure the high performance of the combine.

First on the grain pan, along it - on the top sieve, and only then - on well-blown cleaning cascades. In this way, the cleaned grain mass from the sieve rotors prevents blockages and reduces the load on the cleaning system.

In the cleaning system, the air flow is guided through two separate channels: the top stream blows the slope between the grain pan and the top sieve, already at this stage removing a significant part of the light fractions. The bottom stream is evenly distributed between the sieves, completing the grain cleaning. The intensity of the air flow and the opening of the cleaning louvers are adjustable from the cab.
COMFORTABLE CAB

The cabin with increased working space and large glass area meets all the requirements for the operator's comfort level. Air conditioning with heating, fully adjustable operator's seat and steering column, folding soft seat for the instructor or assistant, cooling compartment, ergonomically placed instruments and controls - effective solutions for high work efficiency without stress and fatigue.

The control panel and speed control knob are connected to the operator's seat, are height-adjustable with the seat, and are always in the same accessible, operator-friendly position.

Easily remembered controls are “responsible” for performing the most important control functions of the combine's working systems.

The speed control knob concentrates the control functions that require quick response. It is the direction of movement (forward / backward) and speed of movement; lifting / lowering the incline conveyor; increase / decrease of drum revolutions, lifting / lowering of the reel, moving it forwards / backwards; unloading conveyor; rotation discharge conveyor.

The terminal with LCD screen is connected via CAN network to six modules of information management system (CICS):
• transmission control module;
• loss module;
• CAN control panel module;
• sieve management module;
• header module;
• basic module.

The information control system System control, based on the on-board computer, combines the functions of information provision, registration, statistics, management and control. Simple and clear controls are grouped together on the large display . It displays all the basic information about the state of the combine's working systems. The computer finds the optimal ratio of regulation depending on the yield, moisture and contamination. It is a reliable assistant that increases in value as harvesting conditions become more complex.

The terminal provides an interactive dialogue between the operator and CICS, giving him the ability to monitor and control the shearer's working bodies, engine, transmission, work progress and service operations, and monitor the condition of the shearer's systems. On the terminal screen, the operator also receives statistical data on the cleaning progress, as well as information about possible emergency situations.

The modern inclined conveyor is distinguished by its reliability, stable, high-quality grain feeding and ensures high threshing performance and quality.

In dry, hot weather, the header is sometimes completely hidden from the operator's view behind a dense curtain of dust. This problem can be solved by the header dust suction system installed in the conveyor on the inclined combine . The real tangible result is reduced operator eye strain and, as a result, more efficient work.

SAFE START

PALESSE combine headers use the best engineering solutions, recognized as a standard in world practice, which ensures stable and efficient operation of combines, regardless of the harvested crops and harvesting conditions.

The electrohydraulic "Auto-Contour" tracking system in automatic mode fully maintains the specified cutting height, ground pressure and header position in relation to the soil in both the longitudinal and transverse directions.
Signals from the copy arcs beneath the header are constantly compared with the given values. Cross-copying cylinders on the incline conveyor constantly keep the header parallel to the soil surface. Auto-Contour ensures safe operation in the dark hours of the day, on slopes and rocky fields, which gives a significant increase in productivity.
Header transport trolleys are included as standard equipment on all PALESSE combine models. They help to reach the field on public roads and ensure easy header mounting directly in the field without any additional equipment.
Mercedes Benz OM 502LA engine, 530 hp provides stable operation of all combine systems, units and mechanisms. High-pressure fuel injection combined with electronic engine management enables the highest possible power with minimum fuel consumption, even under heavy loads that arise under extreme harvesting conditions.
The use of an automatic central lubrication system saves a huge amount of time for routine maintenance, saves lubricant thanks to more accurate dosing with automatic devices, and extends the service life of the lubricated units and the entire machine.

Rape harvesting

The use of rape harvesting equipment allows the header table to be enlarged. Side scythes with cutting devices clearly cut off the rape along the edge of the crown. In combination with rape spotlights, this reduces the loss of rape seed to a minimum.

Corn picking

Harvesting grain maize becomes an easy task using a special set of equipment. It includes a header with crop dividers and a stalk chopper, a reduced threshing drum drive, a replaceable concave and additional equipment for the combine's working systems. The cobs are carefully separated and given to threshing, and the stalks are finely crushed. The field remains completely ready for plowing.
