The KZS-1218 "PALESSE GS12" combine harvester is a high-performance combine harvester with a 1500 mm wide thresher with accelerated grain mass flow before threshing. At the same time, a distinctive feature of the PALESSE GS12 threshing machine is the large diameter of the accelerator drum and the threshing drum (600 and 800 mm) - more than in any other threshing machine of the same type. As a result, the combine ensures stable threshing when picking up "difficult" crops, including clogged, straw and wet crops. The special all-wheel drive version of the combine is effective in soils with low bearing capacity.

The efficiency of the combine is increased by the use of additional adapters for harvesting various crops, by re-equipping the thresher (harvesting corn for grain and sunflower), thresher and undercarriage (harvesting rice). Depending on market preferences, the combine can be equipped with engines from different manufacturers.

A distinctive feature of the PALESSE GS12 threshing machine is the increased diameter of the accelerator drum and the threshing drum: 600 and 800 mm, respectively. Combined with the increased concave area, this made the threshing path more elongated and the threshing more careful. The result is a high level of threshing and separation.

The drum-accelerator increases the speed of movement of the grain mass coming from the conveyor of the inclined chamber, bringing it closer to the rotational speed of the threshing drum. The accelerator is equipped with a concave, so that threshing and separation begin with the acceleration of the flow. In addition, the teeth of the accelerator drum evenly distribute the mass. This reduces the load on the threshing drum and the main concave. This keeps threshing stable and efficient, giving the combine an advantage when harvesting twisted and wet crops.
Seven cascades with optimal height difference on each of the five shaker buttons.

A sieve, three cleaning cascades, a powerful fan with even airflow distribution through the sieves - this cleaning system meets the highest requirements for grain cleanliness.

Changing the intensity of the air flow: an electric mechanism, controlled by a button from the cabin, enables smooth adjustment of the rotational speed of the cleaning fan.
The keyboard allows you to control all the working elements of the combine - from the header, inclined chamber and thresher to the grain cleaning and unloading system.

The modern inclined conveyor is distinguished by its reliability, stable, high-quality grain feeding and ensures high threshing performance and quality.
The use of hydropneumatic accumulators on the lifting / lowering cylinders of the inclined conveyor improves the quality of field terrain following, prevents damage to the header and the inclined conveyor.
The 600-liter fuel tank used in the construction of the combine is made of high-quality polymer materials, has advantages over the metal fuel tank - durability and corrosion resistance. It is an effective solution to the problem of clogging of the fuel system by corrosion products.
The PALESSE GS12 combine harvester can be additionally equipped with a steered drive axle. The combine with two driving axles has high patency, it is able to harvest in difficult conditions: on heavy soils, during prolonged rains during the autumn harvesting of corn for grain, which significantly increases its seasonal operating time.
The cutting unit with reinforced tines, upper and lower cutting edges, with an alternating segment arrangement, ensures an exceptionally clean cut and ensures self-cleaning. The planetary gear used to drive the cutting unit of the header ensures high cutting frequency with smooth operation and minimal wear, increasing productivity.
The use of a header with a working width of 9 m on the PALESSE GS12 combine on the KZS-1218-35 model makes the combine effective in medium and low capacity fields, reduces the number of passes in the field and reduces fuel consumption. To work with a 9-meter header, the combine is equipped with an unloading auger, the length of which is increased by 1 meter, which ensures free access of vehicles for unloading grain.
